Brew Day Guide
- Approximately 10-15 minutes before your boil finishes, submerge the clean chiller coil directly into the boiling wort. The heat will effectively sanitise the stainless steel.
- Connect your cold water supply hose to the inlet fitting, and attach a drainage hose to the outlet fitting, directing it to a sink, drain, or water butt.
- Once the boil is complete, turn off your heat source and slowly turn on the cold water supply. Check for any leaks at the connections.
- Gently stir the wort with a sanitised spoon while the water runs through the coil. Moving the hot wort across the cold coils significantly drastically reduces cooling time.
- Once the wort reaches your desired pitching temperature (usually around 18-20°C for ales), turn off the water, remove the chiller, and immediately rinse the coil with warm water to remove any sticky wort.

Brilliant piece of kit. I upgraded from an old copper coil and the difference in cleaning is night and day. The stainless steel wipes clean instantly and drops my 23L IPA batches to 18 degrees in about 15 minutes.
Delivery was spot on, arrived next day. The build quality is excellent-very sturdy and the brass fittings clicked straight onto my Hozelock garden hose without any leaks. Highly recommend for any home brewer.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Cools the wort quickly and feels very robust. Only giving 4 stars because the outlet pipe gets incredibly hot for the first two minutes, so you need to make sure your drain hose is secured properly!
I used to use a plate chiller but got sick of it clogging with pellet hops. Switched to this immersion chiller and my brew days are so much less stressful. Just drop it in the boil to sanitise and turn the tap on. Perfect.
Much better quality than the Brewferm one I had previously. The coils are spaced nicely which makes cleaning out the trub really easy. Great value for money considering it's 304 stainless.
Very effective cooling coil. It fits perfectly into my 35L BrewZilla. You do have to stir the wort constantly to get the fastest cooling times, but that's standard for immersion chillers. Good solid product.
